I bought lightroom 6 on amazon for mac awhile ago but now have a PC, do I have to buy an entire new version or can I transfer platforms?

Help a broke college student out, please don't tell me I have to buy an entirely new version? The amazon download says it's only for Macs... I bought through amazon because I had an amazon gift card.
