Printing exported file

once I export a PDF interactive file (or any file for that matter) it doesn't set up on the page right to print.  Is that my individual computer or can I set up the print options so when people download the document they can print it letter size

You should us provide wit more information.

You can set up a PDF how it is printed by default in Acrobat in File > Document Properties, especially the fit to printer size. But if someone uses a different reader, this property is ignored.
