It would be incredibly useful, in a professional workflow, to have a lasso selection tool for applying color manipulations, transforms, etc to a specifically selected area of an illustration.

Ryan.

Oh, that's different than what I was thinking. Glad I asked.

I'll make that correction in my notes.

Hi Ryan.

I'm reading through all your feature requests right now. For this one, I'm guessing you're referring to a selection tool/function similar to that in Comp CC?

Hi Sue!

I am actually referring more to the sort of functionality of the Lasso Tool in PhotoshopCC, or in Adobe AnimateCC.

Basically, the ability to draw (for the sake of this example) a circle in vector, and then being able to use a Lasso tool to "grab", for example, only half of the circle and move it around, change its color, cut and paste it to another layer, etc.

Hope this explanation was more helpful!

Thanks!

Just wanted to add my support to this! I would love to be able to select and move different parts of a picture. A lassoo tool would make the most sense given that Draw is so freehand

I  wanted to add my vote to the others for a selection tool like a lasso.  Also a copy and paste function or drag selection to copy function would be really great

Hi Helping1.

We are no longer doing features development in Draw (or Sketch) but there is a lasso tool in Adobe Fresco.
