I am having trouble uodating my stand alone LR on my desk top. I could easily do it on my lap top. I get conflict when I try to down load using the help menu..HOw do I update????

I can not update my lightroom 6.7 to 6.8 on my desk top mac, although it easily updated on my lap top. When I try the "help" menue and 'update" I get a conflict message...what should I do?

You can manually download the 6.8 from here: http://swupdl.adobe.com/updates/oobe/aam20/mac/AdobeLightroom-6.0/6.8/setup.dmg . Once it's downloaded, double-click "setup.dmg".
