I have attempted to install CS6 on three different brand new Lenovo i5 laptops (also they are different models). I have also installed from two different source codes. Windows is up to date. As is the video driver and all of the Adobe applications. I have repaired the C++ Redistributed app. These are new installs. They fail with new and old Windows profiles. Windows does not allow a BEX exception for InDesign, so that common fix does not work. Everytime I launch InDesign CS6, I get the following error:

Please help! I have a graphics department with 35 desktops that I am concerned may go belly up at any time with the same issue.

You might want to expand on this BEX thing.

I don't follow. I have expanded in the message everything that I can think of. I just gave full permissions to the public.dll file - still does not work.

You call it the dreaded BEX error as if we all know what it is. We don’t.
Do these users have admin access? If not, at least try that.

BEX refers to Buffer Overflow Exception. That is about all I know about the specific problem.
I see it in a lot of places and have tried all of the potential fixes, as listed above.

Again, do users have admin privileges?

This does not work for Admins either.

How about trying to run it as an admin? Also, just for giggles, try to run it in XP compatibility mode.
