Reinstall InDesign CS4 on Mac OSX 10.9.5

InDesign would not launch -- just gets the endless circle of color, ForceQuit pops up & says "(not responding)." I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Each time the rose-colored InDesign panel says "Completing installation" and the endless circle of color circles endlessly. Help, please?? -- sharon

Well, I installed it a 3rd time & let it sit awhile. And now it's working. Hooray!
