For what output, use, format, etc. it's possible, but I need more info of what you want to do.

Ultimate product will be an interactive file published online with Online Publishing. Not sure what you mean about format. I just want a self-looping slide show to run on part of one page. I installed the Mag+ Design plugin but I can't seem to make it work. The Design Object tab is grayed out. Thanks!

If you mean Publish Online from ID, you don't need in5.

just stack your items on a single page and set them to animate to appear from the bottom object first and the last on the top.

I wasn't suggesting that, I was offering an alternative to Publish Online as, as you know, you can't monetise with it, which may, or not, be important to the OP. Just offering options.
