I'm after a Computer & Screen, KB, Mouse. From last 3 or 4 years.
For $300 and something, 8GB of Ram. Using Large Files.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Ash
You don't say if you want a mac or windows system.
There are a lot of computer refurbish sites out there.
Apple has their own.
Try to stay away from Ebay if you can.
You can also go to any Goodwill store and find some computer products, older but much cheaper.
$300 is going to be tough, but it can be done.

Hi
1) search in a trash bin near you.
2) search on the web for a legit reseller.
3) ask a friend to give you his old computer, and spend a somef $ and time to fix it.

No need to go second hand, new desktops go for around $300.

You can buy new for $300 but in all likely hood they will not run Photoshop very well, especially with large files. I have a £300 (uk) system (AMD 2Ghz processor, 8gb ram, x64 win 10) that I use mainly for emails and browsing with PS CS4 installed and it will take about 2 mins to open a jpeg, in fact it is not useable at all for creating content.
He might find something more powerful second hand.....the first thing I would do is replace the hard drive as that will most like die first.

Windows 10 boots in seconds and PS CC 2017 will open in 7-10 seconds. Jpegs pop up on the screen on open.
The largest size files I use are usually not over 500 MB.
