I have a hard disk copy of photoshop, but my new computer no longer has a CD drive. Is there some way it can still be added to my computer?

Stupid to spend money on a digital copy, when I already have a copy here.

Which version of Photoshop? Windows or Mac?

Which operating system is your new computer running?

That's a real bummer.  I could not function without a DVD/CD drive.  You can pick up external optical drives for under USD $40.  It plugs into your USB drive.  When not in use, toss it into your desk drawer or briefcase.

Very few new computers (laptops) ship with optical drives these days. I well remember when they were indispensable.

What do you use a CD/DVD drive for, Nancy? I haven't used one in a few years since most software and music is usually downloadable or streamed.

Old school, I guess. I have countless libraries of image files stored on optical disks.   And my off site printer's email inbox is always full so it's easier to burn art work onto a CD and drop it off at his shop.   I've tried putting  high quality PDFs on the Creative Cloud for him to download but he has trouble accessing them.
