Hello.
I was running El Capitan and CS6 Indesign just fine.
I installed CC today and now my CS6 crashes upon start up with the opening dialog box just being blank.
Here is the pastebin report
I have uninstalled and reinstalled CS6 several times. Cleared my preferences, did all Indesign CS6 updates, but nothing.
Run CS6 on an earlier OS.

InDesign CS6 is not supported under El Capitan. Some people report no issues and others, like you've discovered have. If your work is mission critical I suggest you consider upgrading to InDesign CC2015/17.

Thanks very much.
Unfortunately too many of my co-workers are using CS6 and idmling won't work in our workflow for the time-being.
Do we have any other workarounds, based on the crash report, that you may see?

Thanks for the quick responses.
If that is truly the only solution, that's unfortunate to say the least. I only want this running until I can get all my colleagues on to CC.
That being said, as this Mac came with El Capitan. What is the recommended procedure to revert to an earlier OS? And, what OS is recommended?

Not sure that will help, Steve. If the machine came with El Capitan, I don’t think it’s going to be so simple to get it running on an earlier O/S.

Maybe it would help starting from scratch?
Uninstall CC, uninstall CS6 and reinstall CS6?
Maybe also:
Wipe the disk and reinstall OSX 10.11 first?
Then install InDesign CS6 and no CC ?

Uwe

You might look at going forward rather than back. It looks like CS6 has fewer problems with Sierra. I have a laptop running Sierra and CS6 works fine
