I need photoshop help [how to add simple arrows and highlight text?]

I have a meeting next week and I need to know how to add simple arrows and highlight text in photoshop. I went out today and got a lot of piping and instrumentation drawings scanned and saved to JPEG, in order to open them in photoshop. I need to highlight certain text and add arrows and lines to the image. please help

I have windows10 and I just purchased photoshop yesterday, so it is probably the most up to date. please help!!!!!!!
