It has been happening irregularly, but constantly. This morning it crashed after I saved the file as a precaution. Normally it crashes when I move into print mode.
This constant problem is making me think it's a waste of $25 per month to subscribe to Ps when I could easily go back to #7 or Elements 8 which works fine.
I'm using Windows 7 and have a 32 bit computer. Help please anyone?
What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-trouble-shooting-steps.html
Unless you use another CC application (apart from Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge) you would seem to be spending more money than necessary as those should be about 10$/month with the Photography Plan.

Hi – thanks for the advice. I was under the impression Adobe automatically downloaded the updates but, after finding the programme, discovered I was still on a 2015 CC setup.
Have downloaded the 2017 version and (cross fingers) this will solve the problem.
Yes, I pay $25 per month for the lease of CC – I only have Photoshop – but I live in Australia and all computer software is a lot more expensive here than in America and/or England. We appear to be content with being overcharged!
I do wish I’d bought a PS programme outright 2 years ago and thus avoid the monthly lease situation.
Again, thanks for the advice.
Regards,
David
