I purchased Lightroom 6 yesterday and found out it lacked support for my Nikon D500.  Due to this I would like to deactivate this product and get the charges reversed.  Then I will investigate moving to the cloud.  Instructions indicate first step is to deactivate, but path is not clear how to proceed.

Adobe accepts returns within 30 days of receipt. It usually takes 2-3 days after you have placed an order for it to be eligible for return. Before you return a product, you must:

  1. Register the product serial number.
  2. Deactivate the product.
  3. Uninstall the product.

Contact us to request a return.

Note: If you purchased directly from Adobe using a bank transfer, you'll have to provide bank details to complete your refund request.

Thank You

Lightroom 6 does support this camera. You have to apply the (free) upgrade to Lightoom 6.5 or later.

The installer for Lightroom 6 is the base version (6.0).

Your camera became supported in version 6.5, so you need to update, preferably to the latest version, which is 6.8.

Use Help > Updates, if that doesn't work you can download the 6.8 update from here: Install Photoshop Lightroom
