LIGHTROOM - Blacks look gradient in develop module

I just upgraded my entire mac system to serrira. Though it was going great until my blacks in the develop module look weird. The image does not contain this when I export photo to desktop or other software?? screen shot attached. please help.Screen Shot 2017-01-09 at 17.18.33.png

This is a known issue with LR versions 1-4 on Sierra: Re: Develop fit view low resolution

Your options are to rollback to the prior version of OS X or upgrade LR to 6.8.

I use two monitors and it's the same in both. This was not the case before the mac update so highly unlikely the monitor. Plus when i open the file in other software it's fine!

LR 5 may fix this issue (Blacks), but you may experience other issues: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-macos-sierra-compatibility/

LR 5 is also no longer supported and will receive no further updates (5.71 is the last). It's also no longer being sold.
