HI,

I have licensed a model from the 3D library, the splash, but when I try to use it in a file it just places the preview image on a layer.

What am I missing?

Thanks

This is in Adobe Stock - a free 3D model.

Got it figured out. It was not so obvious that along with clicking to 'add to library' a dropdown will present the option to set it to download; this is different that other stock assets that are available directly through the library window. It must be because of the multi-part nature of 3D objects.

What kind of file is it (*.obj, *.3DS etc) and how did you load it?

You should use 3D - new 3D layer from file

Thanks for the response.

It is one of the CC library 3D models from Adobe, and is listed in the library window as a model.

I have not found a way to make the file local.
