What do you think of my site?

Not too shabby, right? Kinda cool. I can spruce it up later, but I definitely want to get it out there so I can start showing clients my stuff.

Now, let's just upload it here...

Home

[^^link to site]

HOLY CRAP WHAT HAPPENED??

Oh, look at it. Just look at it.

What the heck is Universalis?? *frantically checks through layers in muse comp, looking for some sort of widget or anything that would summon this hideous aberration*

*nothing*

*looking through the forums, getting frustrated as I do have a life and things coming up that I'll have to leave my computer to do*

*nothing*

*tries deleting home page and same thing happens to next page over*

[frenzied screaming]

*tries to re-upload several times, on several different computers, over the course of 3 months*

Is no one else having this problem?

Does anyone have any idea what this is or how I fix it?

Please. It's driving me mad.

Please.

Looks like your site Home is using a BC template on It. I have got this corrected by Business Catalyst support and it should look good now.

For future if the same thing happens then try following.

  • Login to Admin Dashboard of you site
  • Go to Site Manager > Pages > Select all pages in the list View
  • Click on "Apply template"
  • Select "Don't use a template" from the dropdown
  • Click save and you will be all set

TO login to Dashboard you need to go to www.site_url.com/admin and login with your Adobe ID.

Try uploading your site to a new URL on Business Catalyst and let me know if still gives you the same.

Right. I went bang. Unlike actual driving, though, no one died.

Now I'm trying to find out what "traffic law" I broke, and just giving me the entirety of muse tutorials is not going to help me efficiently, bro.

Universalis

The only template you need to quickly get started with Business Catalyst.

Its a template from Business catalyst would be my first guess... you signed up for a BC web hosted site without reading the fine print would be my second guess.

Q1 do you want | need any blog or shop options on your site?

Q2 do you know how to use Dreamweaver?
