Close all versions of Ps, try opening a file again just to see if having both versions open caused a conflict. If it still is giving you the error make sure you have what you need to reinstall.

It is better to use Adobe's Photoshop CC Uninstaller than change/find application and remove through Windows. Reinstall through Adobe's Creative Cloud app manager and open it from CC Manager. Once you are sure that you can open a file directly in Ps - try to 'edit in' from Lighroom.

Just this image or any and all images? Can you open the image(s) from within Photoshop? This message indicates that you have a number of corrupt .dll files. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled as the error message mentions?

No, no images open and CC2017 does not open on its own, if I open CC2015 first and then right click an image in LR "open in CC2017" then it opens up in CC2015 that is already open.

It works now, both individually and open file in CC2017 from LR, but since we are on this subject, is there a way that  NIK can be used with photoshop CC2017?
