Black Desktop (with mouse) after installation forces system-recovery

Hi,

today i installes LR on a proper running system W7P-64, AMD Hexacore, 8 GB RAM.

After a restart there was just a black desktop with mouspointer - i needed to recover the system.

All drivers are ok, anti-virus-software was disabled.

The only thing causing the problem could be LR6.

Anyone else with this prob?

LR 6 could be or may not be the root of your black screen.

LR 6, or any version of LR, doesn't default to starting with the system. There may be other Adobe processes that start with the system.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? Try that. If you still get a Black screen it has nothing to do with the install of LR 6.

It feels a little bit strange - the system has installed a lot of software and showed no problems since 3 years.

After installing LR6 and restart the blackscreen was here. My English is not perfect, i know.

So safe mode had tehe same effect, after going back to the point of system recovery before installing LR6 everything worked fine again.

I will try to install LR6 on another machine.
