How to turnoff Type contextual controls in Indesign CC? I have not found the properties.

Is that for CC 2017 ? I guess, yes…
Then see the DOM documentation compiled by Gregor Fellenz:

InDesign ExtendScript API (12.0)

However, I think there is a bug with property showFractionsUi :

Setting it to false will set it to true. At least it does it with my German InDesign.

I think, we have to wait for the first bug fix version of inDesign CC 2017 😞

This is for InDesign CC 2015. I have not found the properties for this. I want to turn off these setting in the document. Please help.

does that mean that you finally found what you wanted?

If I recall it right in the first version of CC 2015 there was no TypeContextualUiPreference.
This was added later: E.g. my installed InDesign CC 2015 version 11.4.1.102 has it.

And property showFractionsUi is not broken with CC 2015.4.1
Both available properties showAlternatesUi and showFractionsUi for TypeContextualUiPreference are working as expected in that version.
