Lightroom locks last photo to screen after deleting files. Bug?

LR 5.8, Windows 10

In develop module, mark photos as rejected

Photo, delete rejected photos, remove from disk

After deletion is complete, the last photo is on the screen and I cannot change from it.  Only closing LR and re opening LR works.

Never noticed this before.

There is no LR 5.8 so you must be referring to LR 6.8.

This is a Known Bug so Stop deleting images while you are in the Develop module. Go back to the Library module to sort out the image files you want to delete and Delete them from that module.
