Any way to bring up changes made to site?

Whenever I make changes to my intranet site that I have created on muse and then published to the business catalyst - is there a way that it can come up on the computers screen for everyone that uses it to show that a change has been made to the site?

For example, if I add a new item to the intranet 'News' page - is there a way that it can come up on everybody's screen that a news item has just been added to the intranet? This would allow people to notice the different changes that have been made throughout the site.

The only thing you could do in Muse would be to add an icon or something next to new content to draw attention to it.
