Nobody can tell you anything without exact system info or other technical details.

Hi MahamudR,

This user was able to solve it by running the application as an Administrator. Details here:Re: AEGP Plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER - Connection failure (5027 :: 12)

Please let us know if this post helped you, as well.

Thanks,
Kevin

I am a mac user and I have the same problem. Out of a sudden I couldn´t use cineware within AE anymore.

Setup: CC 2017 and CINEMA 4D Lite 16.038 connection failure on an iMac 27" from 2016 (OSX 10.11.6).

Reinstall, purgung disk cache, manually reconnect – didn´t work.

Any idaes?

Thanks,

Markus

Hi Szalam,

If I choose "menu/layer/new/maxon cinema 4d file ...",

I get the following:

After Effects: AEGP-Plugin CINEMA 4D - Verbindungsfehler ( 5027 § 12)

If I use "camera tracking" on a clip, it gives me markers in the end. When I try to get a "camera and text layer" it doesn´t work:

1. After Effects: AEGP-Plugin CINEMA 4D - Verbindungsfehler ( 5027 § 12) after I click ok

2. After Effects Fehler: CINEMA 4D: Rendern fehlgeschlagen (5070 § 0)

Verbindungsfehler = connection failure

Rendern fehlgeschlagen = Rendering failed

I hope that helps to find a solution.

THX
