1)Created on RoboHelp 7.0.2 (from trial version) and generated for UNIX.
2)Transferred WebHelp to USB Drive.
3) WebHelp can be started from USB Drive on UNIX platform.
(However, TOC in left-hand frame does not correctly size vertically--limited to about 2 inches )
4) Content seems to "continually refresh" (it just flashes progress bar...never see page) when WebHelp transferred to UNIX (Solaris 10 Update5 with Firefox 2.0.0.11) from USB Drive and activated from Desktop by opening initial topic.

Generating "without skin" seems to eliminate "continual refresh"....however TOC vertical sizing issue remains.

When run from USB Thumb Drive:
Contents Tab: does not size Vertically and there is NO Horizontal Scroll Bar.
Index, Search & Glossary Tabs show both Vertical and Horizontal Scroll Bars when selected.

So the issue is that the window covers a certain depth but the TOC only goes down a small proportion of that and does not continue and display the rest of the TOC?

If I am on the right track, see the last post in this thread.

Also search on Firefox with your history set way back. You will get quite a lot of hits but I am sure I have seen this somewhere before.

In a generated project the TOC displays within the navigation pane as expected...but the navigation pane is somehow "limited" to the initial TOC display with none of the 4 books open. (Firefox/UNIX)
When same project is viewed on Windows Browser the TOC is capable of expanding the full height of the navigation pane on the left side (with all 4 books open and easilly viewed)

It seems to have something to do with the "generated" scripts (?DHTML?) If I manually edit and add an entry to the TOC the topic is just out of view at the bottom "limit" of the navigation pane. The navigation pane appears to be full height on the left side.....however the TOC will only display within the original height with all Books closed? It is however nice enough to provide a vertical scroll-bar on the right-hand side of the navigation pane...so I can scroll down to look at opened books.....:)

So the difference is between Firefox and Windows?

Does FF have the Firebug add-on installed? If it does, disable it and try again.

If you could post some images somewhere and add links here it would help.
