Publish Online button Dimmed

After I publish a document to Publish Online, the button for publishing stays dimmed. In order to publish again, I have to quit InDesign and relaunch the application before the Publish Online button becomes available again. I'm using InDesign CC 2017 on a Mac.

Try restoring your InDesign preferences:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

Thanks Steve. I used the easier version with the keyboard command and it worked.
