Primere Elements 10 on 3 day old $1500 gaming PC and it wont play any video!

Bought this program because I used it forever but my new PC wont play anything in Primere 10 .

If you recently bought Premier Elements 10, something is wrong.  It is about 6 years old in a system with annual updates.

Premier Elements 10 needed Quicktime for some codecs.  Depending on what your source is, you may need it.   Another recent problem has been Nvidia drivers.  One or two of their updates seemed to have caused some trouble for Premier Elements as well as other editing software.  The latest update on my Gamer laptop is working fine.
