I have Lightroom CC 2015.8 on iMac 21" (macOS Sierra 10.12.2). Trying to export a Slideshow with music (mp3) from the "Export Video" the bar showing "Export Slideshow as Video" without actually doing anything even if stay like this for hours.
Any ideas how i can solve this issue.
Hi John,
Thanks for your efforts to help me solving this problem.
However, i just found the solution. I use images with much lower size. As soon as i did this the exports has just started and completed in few seconds.

It may not help you, but
I have had problems with export hanging in these circumstances, so I wonder if this might be the problem.

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried your suggestions but unfortunately did not work out.
All pictures are original landscape and portrait.
I forgot to mention that i have added music to the slide show. I do not know if that is causing a problem.

So what settings are you using?
What happens if you hit Preview or Play? Do they operate normally? Can you export a slideshow for a small number of those images?

What settings do you want me to send?
Preview and Play are playing fine. No issues. No, export with fewer images does not work as well. Only 17en images with one MP3 music song.

The specific ones I asked about.
Only when there's only one MP3, the full slideshow exports OK? Is there anything odd about the second MP3?

Hi Aristote
I had the same problem: Lightroom stuck at the very beginning of export, without creating the temporary files for music and video.
Sometimes, stopping the process and closing/restarting LR allows the next export to work.
How did you manage the resolution decrease? Did you find something "automatic" or did you had to reduce the picture resolution by yourself, using the export function or something similar?
Then, in the last case, it would generate 2 times more pictures in your library?
Thanks for your feedback,
Eric

Experienced the same LR slideshow export to video problem: slow to all stop.
Make sure there are not mix of landscape and portrait
....and possibly..... when I removed PAN AND ZOOM, my problems go away....
