Hi Photoshop has been running problem free even with updates etc no problem at all. Windows 10 just had a large update and now it won't start at all. Anyone with similar issues or know a fix? Thanks very much for reading. Allan

That file comes from a program called "Web Companion". Best to uninstall the whole thing from Programs and Features. You want it all out, not just the DLL.

Restart your computer afterwards.

IMHO it clearly has something to do with the Windows update. What that is I have no idea. Go to the folder that holds the Photoshop.exe file and right click on it and set it to Run as Admin. See if that helps.

Go to control panel/administrative tools/event viewer/windows logs/application and find the application error.

"copy details as text" and post them here.
