Photoshop CS6 doesn't open raw files passed from Lightroom 6

When I attempt to open Raw files processed in LR 6.6.1 to Photoshop CS 6 with (Raw 9.1.1) it doesn't work. LR calls PS but the files don't open. Any suggestions?

Maybe the camera model is too new and you need to upgrade this very old CS6.  But that's just a guess, what is the exact camera model?

I just tested your theory and as much as it is not what I want to hear... you are correct. I have a D5. I just tested opening the file directly w/ Photoshop and it cannot open the file b/c of this. Thanks for your help.
