When is it expected that Lightroom CC will be upgraded to that it can open and edit the O-MD E-M1 Mark II Hi Resolution files - or if this is later than the Adobe DNG converted, at least that would help as right now I have to open in Olympus Viewer 3 and export as a TIFF which make large files (60-70Mb hi resolution files) outrageously large.
Any insight is appreciated.
Lightroom / ACR gets updated with bug fixes/ new camera support approximately every 3 months. See the link below for history.
The last update was Dec 9, 2016. The DNG Converter is updated on the same cycle as Adobe Camera Raw.
Lightroom does not announce details of updates in the works.
Lightroom Journal | Tips and advice straight from the Lightroom team.
However I think it is reasonable to expect that the next update should provide what you are awaiting.

Nobody knows outside of Adobe: Lightroom raw support for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II
This forum is mostly other users that generally have no inside info. Best thing if you want support for these files is to request it on http://feedback.photoshop.com (your normal adobe login works there) as there are actual Adobe reps on there.
