Now since today I have ae 2017. Everything fine except for one thing. Whenever i want to preview and it still rendering the preview the audio is like going from slow motion to fast motion, but I just want the audio to play normal, like what do I do?

here is also a video which shows how awful my audio sounds.

I just want it to be the way it was, meaning when its still rendering during preview the audio plays normal and stops when preview takes long. You now what I mean... I just want the audio to play normal ;(

Pls help , thx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53RUyAFpIY8

The preview panel (you might need to drag the bottom of the panel to expand it) has options to mute the audio when the preview is not real time. Does that help?

Sorry, yes, Roei, that's where I meant.

Then you need to let the preview cache first. In most cases, AE must cache a preview before it can play it back in real time. You can tick a box in your preview panel that tells it to cache before it starts playing back (or you could set that sort of preview to happen when pressing a button besides spacebar - I have it set to cache first if I press 0 on my numeric keypad.)

The preview panel has options to mute the audio when the preview is not real time.

I guess you mean the preferences->preview and not the preview panel

deselect the checkbox in the preferences->preview that says "mute audio when preview is no real-time" like probably most of us do and you will be fine

I have the same problem. Audio playback and sync has been completely unreliable since AE 2014. I have turned to rendering previewfiles, like the old days. Since the preview is so fluctuant.  I have tried different rendersettings for previews, no luck.

(Audition, Premiere and even Photoshop do not have this issue) !

the video you uploaded is offline. can we see it?

I just want it to be the way it was

the way it was before CC2015 was you had spacebar which did not play audio, and you had Numpad 0 which did.

if you want the old behavior just set up your Numpad 0 shortcut like this:

and as said before, choose mute audio when playback is not real time in the preferences.
