I have been using lightroom on my windows 10 machine for a few months.

Just yesterday I joined my machine to a windows server 2016 domain and I created a new user profile which has folder redirection to the server's network share.

It seems that I cannot open Lightroom in my new user profile, there are no error messages but you do see lightroom in task manager but it's not doing very much.

My lightroom catalog is on the local disk but I cannot set that as my default catalog until I get lightroom loading again. I have also tried reinstalling lightroom but that does not help.

Any ideas how I get can lightroom working again?

Thanks

Logging in as my old profile worked so I ended just copying the AppData from my old profile to the new one.

if I didn't have that, it would be time to stop using Lightroo.

anyways this needs to be fixed.

Double click on catalog on your local hard drive and it should be opened in LR and set as default.

Ofcourse if the problem is that your catalog is on the network drive now.

Or you can hold Alt or Option when starting LR - this should bring you dialog to select catalog that should be opened.
