PDF export issue when Publishing online

I look after the in-house magazine for an organisation that I volunteer for and we have recently been experimenting with doing some online publishing.  I started nice and easy and added a couple of simple slide shows in the last edition.  However when some members have downloaded the PDF from the online version the slide shows don't appear.  Everything else is there but no slide shows, just blank space where they should be.

I must be missing something.  Any ideas?

The PDF which can be downloaded from Publish Online document is limited to a PDF Print document. You can't choose a PDF Interactive document. Thus, slideshows won't show up in the PDF file.

How did you do the slideshows? Most effects of that type are not compatible with PDF.

I interepreted to mean that he had included the slideshow in the Publish Online document. And when a PDF was downloaded, it didn't include that (because it was print PDF).

Thanks I understand now.  it's obvious when pointed out.  Print PDFs aren't interactive.

I have found a way round the issue, while not giving me the gallery I get an image and no blank space.  If I put a static image on a layer underneath the slide show the static image downloads.  Better than a blank space.
