I'm trying to import vertical videos shot on my Google Pixel and I'm getting an error that says, "The video file appears to be corrupted or unrecognizable. It has no audio or video streams." I know this isn't true because I can play them with other programs. Any ideas?

Thanks!

What file type is the video? Here's what's compatible with LR: Adobe Lightroom supported file formats

It's MP4. It has no problem importing horizontal videos from the phone; it just refuses to import the vertical ones.

Michael,

I am able to import videos from Google Pixel.

What is the operating system you use?

Do you find the same issue with all the video files or it's just a single video file?

Thanks,

Sunil

Try purging the video cache as shown below:

Hi Sunil,

I'm running Windows 10 on a Surface 4. The problem is with all vertical videos from the Pixel. I tried purging the cache as suggested and that hasn't worked either.
