InDesign CC 2017 12.0.0.81 Build File Size Issue

since the last update of InDesign I have an issue regarding file size. Every time I create a new document and save it - without any graphics or text block or objects in it - the file size is about 500 MB large. If I place a guide in it, the file size jumps to 1 Giga. This is really bad since I use InDesign with almost every project I design. Everything I move within a document it takes about a minute or so to apply a change or save the document.

Please help immediately.

That is highly unusual. Try trashing your preferences and see if that helps.

Nice people from Adobe Technical Support helped me with this issue right away. It seems all I had to do was to reset the preferences. So If you are having same problem do this. If it doesn't work, contact the nice staff from adobe technical support.
