AE 14.0.1 Nov 2016 bug fix not showing up in CC updater

I'm trying to open a file I started at work, but my computer at home was on AE CC 2014. I updated to 2015.3, but it still says the file was made with a newer version: 14.0.1. 2015.3 is the most recent one that shows up in the CC updater. I don't see any option to download 14.0.1. Anyone know why that might be? I'm on a 2012 MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i7, which should be 64 bit, and running on Mavericks.

1. see if you can update your CC app.

2. in the CC app log out and back in

3. Try to relaunch it: CMD+option+R

you should see AE CC 2017, if not - show us a screenshot of your CC app. Expand it.
