Shifting in Linked File AI in PS-17

OK iI created a file in AI (logo) and then used that file in Photoshop to create a business card. I have to create 3 layers for the front and again for the back.

So i locked the position of all layers in the PS composition. Then on another screen i opened AI and started to create my UV layer for the card. I have a few compound paths and custom shapes but these are normal elements. However when i make a compound layer invisible and save, then get back to photoshop the position of the entire logo has been shifted. I can see it happen because i am on 2 screens.

How can i stop the shift?

Any change is now creating a shift (color, layer on/off...ect). Anything.
