Is this the exact text of the error message you receive? Can you provide a bit more information (exact version number of AE from the About screen, OS, etc.)? Also, what kind of shapes? How are you trying to align them?

I get the exact same error. My AE version for Mac OS is 15.0.0 updated today. The error appears when using a shape layer with an ellipse and two keyframes. When removing the keyframes the error is gone. However I have a structurally equivalent second ellipse shape at a different time in my project that works fine. It's hard to find a reason for the error. The error messages indicates an overflow. Any idea where it comes from?

Edit: I forgot to tell the error appears when invoking Composition -> Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue from the menu.

Edit 2: I managed to merge my two shapes into one without error, problem solved. But AE has an issue when using two shapes.

Please file a bug report. Be sure to include a link to a project file demonstrating the issue.

In fact, I'd like to see a project file demonstrating the issue too. I haven't had this problem myself yet and I'd like to see if it happens on my machines too.
