Artwork won't sync

My puppets are designed in Photoshop and synced to Character Animator. I'm going back now to make minor changes to the artwork and start creating behaviors and my artwork won't update whenever I save the photoshop file. I have tried re-syncing artwork and making sure the auto sync box is checked but it just won't update. Any tips?

Never mind! Figured out the problem. I just had an older file of the artwork synced

I am jumping on to thread. CH won't update my Photoshop file. It was working fine last night on similar Photoshop file. Today, it won't. I also won't recognize body parts. Yellow outline only shows rectangle of artboard. I believe the technical terms for this malfucntion is "acting wonky". Does anyone have any ideas for us?
