Hi,

I am new in InDesign. I have started with a new InDesign file, where I linked a Microsoft word file into it. The issue I have is that the fonts types and sizes change after I link the file. I have selected "Import Styles Automatically" on import options. is there any specific settings, that I am missing? I really appreciate it.

Best,

Schahram

Have you checked to see that you accidentally turned on a Character Style, so that whenever new text comes in, it gets over-dressed with the Character Style? With nothing selected in your layout, and while active in a black Selection tool, look at your Character Panel. It ought to be set to None.
