Flowing, organic, color changing lines

Hi everyone.

Greetings from Porto, Portugal.

I am in need of some help with replicating the flowing lines seen in this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4Kd61Y0cqU ) from seconds 14 to 25.

I can manage to animate the lines using 3D Stroke or manually animating a mask shape but what is puzzling me is the flowing, organic, color changing nature of the line.

Any idea how i might go about achieving this?

Thanks

João Nuno

Thanks.
I don't have Mir but have managed to get some very similar results with a combination of 3D Stroke, Roughen Edges and Matte Choker.

That's a 3D cartoon shader on an extruded path driven by some procedural animation. For AE, Trapcode MIR would be the equivalent with respective texturing and shading settings.
