InDesign CC17 - Pages Panel

I have been using the new InDesign CC17 for a while now. Yesterday, my pages panel lost its scroll bar. Further, when I view pages horizontally, the view skips pages and won't let me see all the pages. If I try to extend the panel out, I just see more pages, but it's still skipping.  (When there are 2 columns, it skips from 1 & 2 on the first line, then 5 & 6 on the second line. When there are 4 columns, it skips from 1, 2, 3 & 4 to 7, 8, 9 & 10).

These issues are very problematic when trying to work on a file that has many pages (40+). It's hard to skip around and do any work on pages you can't see within the pages panel.

What is going on? Is there a way to fix this?
