I had a PC running Windows 7. LR6 standalone liocence version was working well. The PC broke and got a replacement that also runs W7.

When I upload LR6 it appears in download as LR6 but when I open it it does so as LR CC on a 30 day trial with an invitation to subscibe £8.37 a month. When I enter my licence number the screen then says that the licence number is valid but LR6 has not been uploaded and invites me to put in the licence number for any of the earlier versions of LR.

I paid for a standalone licence and want to continue b ut how do I simply activate LR6 as LR6?

Cheers

Jeff

If it's asking you for the serial number of an earlier version of Lightroom, that's because you have purchased the upgrade (not the full version) and you must enter the serial number of the earlier version of Lightroom that you owned.
