Extendscript bash wait for toolkit script completion

I have a script that builds a jsx file via bash. I want to wait until toolkit has finished before moving on to the next bash steps. Is this possible?

Example, press folder should not open until the script is finished running

"$TOOLKIT" -run "$SCRIPTFILENAME"

open "${PRESS_FOLDER}"
