Soft Proof not updating

Hi,

I'm trying to softproof in Lightroom, however when I change any sliders its doesn't update in the main interface. It does however in the preview window.
If I press proofing on then off, adjustments will then update.

This is annoying as I can't edit a proof properly

Before anyone mentions about turning graphic acceleration off it is already off and can't be turned on due to errors.
I'm using a MacBook Pro Mid 2009 on El Capitan.

Screenshot added to showcase what is happening with a major adjustment made to make it clear.

Found the preferences file, no change however. I'm starting to think it may be the colour profile that is not working.
It's this one from Loxley, https://loxleycolour.blob.core.windows.net/images/colour-management/print-profiles/canvas/LoxleyColour-Canvas2-16.02.16.…

Seems OK. You might consider deleting your preferences file so that Lightroom can create a new one.

I have just noticed that this only happens on a printer profile. Works fine on monitor profiles?

The preferences file isn't showing in my Library/Preferences folder.
Not sure why there are other adobe plist files there.

Indeed something is wrong with that profile. It doesn't work for me either on a more modern machine while all other profiles work fine.
