I am no longer able to transfer files from my Nikon camera bodies through lightroom.

Hello,  As of yesterday lightroom (I have latest 6.8 version)  stopped allowing me to import files from my Nikon Camera bodies into lightroom?    This is a HUGE problem for me as I load thousands of raw images a week.   Please someone tell me there is a solution for this that doesn't require me to go to the CC

The import process is the same in Lightroom CC as it is in the standalone versions of Lightroom. There is no difference. What was changed? A new camera? A new operating system update? A new computer? Something must have changed that has prevented you from importing. What happens when you try? What operating system are you using?

Regardless of the solution you eventually find, ultimately you will be much happier using a card reader.

The card readers are faster in the transfer, do not require special drivers, are far less error prone, and do not drain the camera battery.
