LR Guided upright; why does a 3rd guide cause conflict?

Even when I manually rotate and skew (in PS) I always believed 3 guides were necessary for a well 'uprighted' photo; one for a line near center and one each out toward left and right of center.

Lately my LR gives an error when I add a 3rd guide, and won't do a correction based on that guide.

What gives? 🙂

In my experience- I have successfully used two uprights and two horizontal guides on an image.

I think the Lightroom dialog is entirely different to Photoshop.
