Assume I have the following keyword hierarchy in LR CC.
Family
----Daughter
--------Granddaughter
Also assume that I assign the keyword Daughter to a photo and the keyword Granddaughter to another photo. Since LR assigns all of the keywords above the one I assign to a photo, is there any way to filter for Daughter and not get the photos for Granddaughter?
If not, any suggestions for structuring keywords to make this possible? Thanks.

Grand-daughter may be a child of daughter in real life, but in the keyword hierarchy, grand-daughter should not be a child of the daughter, it should be at the same level as the daughter.

Thanks John. That's a very elegant solution.
