Hello there! My Name is Philip and i actually have a big problem... I am a Student and I run a youtubechannel next to my School. The problem which i have: Adobe AE is actually the best editing Programm which i could find on the Ethernet. I tested it and thought, thats what i need, but the problem is that I can´t afford it bc it is to expensive for me. I don´t have 24€ per month for a programm. I am sorry the programm would be really worth it but ist just to expensive for students like me. Isn´t there another way to get it LEGIT but maybe a Little bit cheaper? Like you pay once and you have it forever so you can avoid monthly rates. Or maybe a scmall Version which is cheaper but won´t have that much effects? I really like editing and i´will keep going, but AE would save me a lot of time bc it is so handy. Need help!

If you can use an earlier version, you might find a cheap one on eBay. it will NOT have the latest features, and it won't be able to work with the video from the latest cameras.

I've actually found that the old serial-numbered versions of Adobe software are hilariously expensive on Ebay, especially given how old they are. Apparently, people hate Adobe's subscription model that they're willing to pay through the nose for actual versions of the software.

REALLY??? I'm surprised... but then again, I'm not, if you know what I mean.
Hey, I've the entire CS4 suite installation disks! I think I'll wait to put them up for sale, though.
If Adobe follows true to form -- lots of sparkly and non-funtioning new features, optimization for modern machines still pie-in-the-sky, even more previously-functioning features broken and an even greater reliance on the Adobe Unpaid Beta Tester Program -- CC 2019 or CC 2020 should be a flippin' DISASTER!
I can probably make some GREAT dough off these fools! Woo Hoo!!!!!

Hahaha you probably could!
I just found the old CS5.5 Production Premium suite on Amazon for $1500 USD, and the CS6 Production Premium for an eye-watering $2900...
Never underestimate how much people DESPISE Adobe's subscription model!

Those prices are really not outrageous. And the Truth is that the CS6 suite is a much better suite of software. Adobe is soooo in the dark at the moment it's absurd. Not only are they charging people to be beta-testers but the beta testing is useless if not actively harmful due to the fact that it is completely uncontrolled. If you're a new user and not already 'comfortable' with the software it would probably smart to choose a different product from a different company.

Why don't you share a couple of your videos. I say this because depending on what exactly you're doing with your videos there may be cheaper or even FREE alternatives to After Effects.
