Duplicate images with LR 6 and Canon 5d M4

Hello all!

I am new to Lightroom having come from Aperature 3 and I need some assistance please.

My situation is difficult to describe, so I'm sorry if I am not clear.

I am currently using LR 6, last updated 1-2-17.

I have a canon 5d M4

It has dual memory card slots, both cards are formatted and are currently blank.

I take x1 photo on the CF card only.

When I go to import into LR there are two identical images present.

The image is NOT present is not the SD card.

Dual Raw is disabled,

image quality is set to Raw only ( not Raw and JPG)

I hope someone can help

Hi SangyeT ,

Could you please check updating to the latest version 6.9 helps importing images with both cards inserted?

I'll have to reproduce this issue in order to provide you more info.

Can you provide a screen capture of the Import Window showing this please? Also how are you importing?? Card reader, cable???
