Illustrator file not correctly importing

Hello, I've recently started learning After Effects, and have been working on small animations with Illustrator vector files. Yesterday I had no problem importing files, but today I did the same process, and my files have been coming in like this (see circled image) I can't seem to find a reason, can anyone help please?

Turn off the "sequence" option in the import dialog.
